Creates informational graphics that tell stories about subjects, time periods and events. Their collections include 'Race to the Moon', 'Conquest of the Everest' and more on American political parties, military and baseball.

In their 'About Us' page, Larry Gormley and Bill Younker mentions Charles Joseph Minard and Edward Tufte, among many to have been their inspiration.
Edward Tufte is a professor at Yale University and his works are considered important in the fields of information design. He is the author of the book The Visual Display of Quantitative Information".
